R&D for sensing the amount a flex circuit is wound inside or outside of a metal container of a endoscopic catheter.  Harsh environmental conditions required robust sensors based on inductive sensors implemented as copper “coils” included with the flex circuit copper.  On-board rigid PCB with FDCAN interface.
