Building from an existing format (KurtUSB) design included product conception, DSP circuit design and firmware (TI DSP C2000, Code Composer) development for high speed data acquisition algorithms (digital demodulation, band-pass, and convolution filters),  ladder logic (PLC) embedded implementation, DeviceNet and USB 2.0 protocol implementation, circuit board layout, Windows USB driver development, and produced a PC application (MFC, C++) allowing the user to create and edit ladder logic programs and operator interface screens.
